Friends Showcase
From annual traditions, events, and fundraisers to unique opportunities for the Friends to show up in our community, there’s always something meaningful happening. Below, we highlight some of our favorite moments. Be sure to follow us on social media so you never miss a memory!

Old Settlers Native Butterfly Garden Revitalization
After being decimated during Hurricane Irma, the native butterfly garden sat for 7 years. Friends has proudly replanted native host and nectar plants and is committed to caring for the garden throughout the year.

Annual Spring Egg Hunt
Our board organizes the spring egg hunt each year at Key Largo Park. We have grown so much, we are now hiding over 5,000 eggs!

Light Up Key Largo: Arts & Crafts Booth
After losing the arts and crafts booth at LUKL, Friends proudly brought it back for our community to enjoy for years to come.

County Camp Support
We proudly support the Monroe County Parks & Beaches department during their camps by providing snacks and one day hope to offer scholarships!

Annual Turkey Scavenger Hunt
Our annual scavenger hunt is supported by local businesses and encourages families to enjoy all of our parks during school break!

Annual Galentines Tea
Our annual Galentine's event is a huge hit for the ladies in our community! Featuring book swaps, mystery book auctions, and a live flower bar!

Santa at Harry Harris
We work with Fire & Rescue every year to bring Santa via firetruck to Harry Harris Park for the community to enjoy!
